Set Up a Contact Engagement Score

A contact engagement score shows how actively each contact interacts with your business. You decide which actions add or remove points, and the score updates as contacts engage.

Manage your score profile

  • Name and description: give each score profile a clear name and description in the score builder.
  • Draft and publish: new profiles start as drafts. Scores are only calculated once you publish the profile.

Build your rules

  1. Open the score builder.
  2. Add rules that add points for activity you value, like replies, form submissions, or bookings, and subtract points for things like unsubscribes.
  3. Edit rules any time to fine-tune them.
  4. Save your changes. New and edited rules only take effect after you save.

Use scores in Conversations

  • See scores: each contact's score shows in Conversations, so you can spot your most engaged leads at a glance.
  • Sort: sort conversations by score to focus on high-priority contacts first.
  • Filter: filter by score range to work with contacts at a similar engagement level.
