Bulk Delete and Restore Records

Bulk delete removes many records in one action. It works for custom object records, companies, and tasks.
Deleting a record also removes its relations, associations, and association labels.

Before you delete

  • Filter the list so only the records you mean to delete are shown.
  • Export the list if you might need the data later.
  • Check workflows or reports that depend on these records.

Delete records

  1. Open the custom object, Companies, or Tasks list.
  2. Tick the records, or select all records in the filtered list.
  3. Click Delete in the bulk actions bar.
  4. Confirm.

Track the job

Open Bulk Actions to see the deletion job, its status, and how many records were removed.

Restore records

  1. Go to Bulk Actions.
  2. Find the deletion job.
  3. Click the three-dot menu and choose Restore.
You can restore records for 60 days after deletion. After that they're gone for good. Restored records come back with their data, but links to records that were also deleted may need to be added again.
