Set Up the ShipStation Integration
The ShipStation integration syncs your store orders, lets you create shipping labels, and shows live carrier rates at checkout.
Setup checklist in ShipStation
Complete these in your ShipStation account first:
- Add a Ship From location: go to Settings > Shipping > Ship From Locations, add a location, and make sure at least one is active.
- Enable Package for all active carriers: go to Settings > Shipping > Packages and turn on the Package option for each carrier you use.
- Match currencies: go to Settings > Account > Your Account and make sure your ShipStation currency matches your store currency.
Step 1: Install the app
- Open the App Marketplace in your account.
- Search for ShipStation, open it, and click Install.
Step 2: Connect your account
- In ShipStation, go to Settings > Account > API Settings and copy your live API Key and API Secret.
- In the app's Settings tab, paste them in.
- Confirm the checklist items and click Connect. Use live keys only.
Step 3: Add shipping options
- Click + Add Shipping Option.
- Enter the name customers will see at checkout.
- Pick the carriers and services to offer.
- Save. Live rates now show at checkout for addresses your carriers serve.
Add product weights so rates are calculated correctly.
