Deliver Digital Products from Your Store
You can sell digital products in your store and deliver the files to customers automatically.
Set up a digital product
- Go to Payments > Products and create or edit a product.
- When adding a variant, set its type to Digital.
- Upload your files. You can add up to 10 files per product, each up to 100 MB.
- A product can have both physical and digital variants, for example a printed book and an ebook.
- Make sure Enable Order Confirmation Email is turned on. Customers get their download link in that email.
What customers see
- After checkout, the order confirmation email includes an Access Downloads button.
- The button opens the Customer Access Center, where they sign in with a one-time code sent to their email.
- They can also go straight to their orders at your store address followed by /store/account/orders.
Notes
- Digital delivery works for orders placed through your online store.
- Cash on Delivery isn't available if the order contains a digital product.
- Digital products have no shipping fees. If the cart also has a physical product, shipping applies to that item only.
