Import Product Reviews from a CSV File
If you're moving your store from another platform or collected reviews elsewhere, you can import them with one CSV file.
Before you start
- The products must already exist in your store.
- You need each product's handle (its URL slug).
- Save your reviews as a .csv file with one review per row.
Prepare your file
Use the sample CSV. Keep the same 10 columns, in the same order, with the same headers. Required columns:
- Handle: the product's handle, for example product-1. It must match a product in your store.
- Overall Rating: a star rating from 1 to 5.
- Name: the reviewer's name.
- Email: the reviewer's email.
Optional columns include contact number, review title, review text, and date.
Import
- Go to Payments > Products > Reviews.
- Click Import and upload your file.
- Review the results. Rows with errors, such as an unknown handle, aren't imported. Fix them and import again.
