Social Element in the Email Builder
What it is
The Social element is a drag-and-drop block in the Email Builder that adds linked social profile icons to an email. You don't need to build and align each icon yourself.
Add the element
- Open an email template or campaign in the Design Editor.
- From the Elements panel, drag Social into your layout.
- Click the element to open its settings.
Customize it
- Platforms: add, remove or reorder social networks, and enter the profile URL for each one.
- Icon style: choose the icon shape and color style (color, dark, light or outlined, depending on what's available).
- Size and spacing: adjust icon size and the gap between icons.
- Alignment: align icons left, center or right.
- Padding and background: set padding and a background color for the block.
Visibility
You can hide the element on desktop or mobile, or use conditional sending so only certain contacts see it.
Test before sending
- Click Preview to check desktop and mobile views.
- Send a test email and click each icon to confirm it opens the right profile.
Some email clients block images by default, so recipients may need to load images before icons appear.
