Copy the Code for a Countdown Timer
When to use Copy Code
Copy Code gives you a snippet to embed a countdown timer outside the FunnelStreams builders:
- External websites: paste it into your site's HTML to show an offer, event or launch countdown.
- External emails: paste it into an email's HTML so recipients see the countdown.
Timer types
- Fixed: ends at a set date and time.
- Recurring: counts down, then resets and starts again.
- Dynamic: a personal countdown for each contact, based on when an email is sent or opened.
Copy the code
- Go to Marketing → Countdown Timers.
- Create a timer or open an existing one, then save it.
- Click Copy Code (from the timer or its menu in the list).
- Choose the code for a website or an email.
- Paste it into your website's HTML or your email's HTML editor.
Tips
- Update the timer in FunnelStreams and the embedded version updates too. You don't need to paste new code.
- Preview the page or send a test email to check that the timer displays correctly.
