How Recipients Can Resubscribe After Unsubscribing
Where the option appears
After someone unsubscribes, the feedback questionnaire includes the option Unsubscribed by mistake, subscribe again. When the contact selects it and submits the form, they're resubscribed.
What changes
- The contact can receive your emails again.
- Their email DND (do not disturb) status is updated.
Check the contact's record after they resubscribe to confirm their email DND is off.
Good to know
- Only the contact can resubscribe themselves this way. Don't resubscribe someone who unsubscribed unless they've clearly asked you to.
- If you use the Two-Step or Dynamic unsubscribe flow, fewer contacts will unsubscribe by accident in the first place.
