Preview Custom Fields as a Real Contact
You can preview an email as a real contact to see how their custom fields fill in, without creating fake test contacts.
Preview as a contact
- Go to Marketing → Emails → Templates and open your email.
- Add the custom fields you want to use.
- Click the three dots at the top right and choose Preview Template.
- Click Preview Contact Info at the top right.
- A contact's details are shown by default. Search for a different contact to preview as them.
- The contact's details and custom field values appear on the right, next to the email preview.
Search again to check how the email looks for other contacts.
