Countdown Timer Placeholders in Shared Email Templates

What a placeholder is

Countdown timers belong to the account they were created in. When you copy an email template that contains a timer into another account, the timer becomes a Countdown Timer Placeholder. It keeps the timer's spot in the layout, but it isn't a working timer.
Before you send the copied email, replace the placeholder with a timer from the new account.

Copy an email template with a timer

  1. Go to Marketing → Emails → Templates.
  2. Open the template's three-dot menu and select Share.
  3. Set the sharing permissions and copy the link.
  4. Open the share link and select Add Template.
  5. Choose the destination account, rename the template if you want, and clone it.

Replace the placeholder

  1. In the destination account, go to Marketing → Emails → Templates and open the copied template.
  2. Select the Countdown Timer Placeholder.
  3. Choose a countdown timer from that account.
  4. If there isn't a suitable one, create a timer in Marketing → Countdown Timers first, then come back and select it.
  5. Save and send yourself a test.
