Analyze Workflow Email Performance
Emails sent by workflow email actions are called workflow campaigns. You can check their performance in several places.
Across all workflows
- Go to Marketing → Emails → Statistics.
- Set the source filter to Workflow Campaigns.
- Choose a date range.
- Review Engagement Summary, Performance Analysis and Top Performing Emails.
Each email action is ranked separately, so a workflow with three emails can appear three times.
One email action
- Go to Automation → Workflows and open the workflow.
- Select the Email action.
- Click Statistics in the right-hand panel.
This view shows the last 30 days by default.

Accepted doesn't mean delivered. Lots of accepted emails with fewer deliveries points to a delivery problem. Many opens with few clicks suggests your call to action needs work.
One whole workflow
- Go to Automation → Workflows.
- Click the expand arrow next to the workflow name.
- Click Stats to see its email and SMS results.
This includes activity from January 1, 2023 onward, even for actions you've since deleted. It works for single workflows, not folders.
On the workflow canvas
- Open the workflow and turn on Stats View at the top left.
- Select an Email action to see its results. Click a number to open the detailed report.
- Turn off Stats View before you edit. You can't make changes while it's on.
Stats View also shows trigger activity: attempted, matched and unmatched enrollments.
Export workflow email results
- Go to Marketing → Emails → Statistics.
- Select Workflow Campaigns and a date range.
- Click Export. If asked, choose Workflows Only.
- Enter the email addresses that should receive the file.
- Download the CSV from the email. The link works for 30 days.
