Set Up, Customize, and Manage Your Communities

Communities give your members one place to learn, connect, and get support. You can run several groups, each with its own channels, events, courses, and members. Communities are included on every FunnelStreams plan.

Step 1: Set up your community domain

Members reach your community at a branded address, such as community.yourbrand.com. Connect a subdomain under Settings > Domains & URL Redirects (click + Connect a domain) and choose it for your communities or Client Portal.

Step 2: Create a group

  1. Go to Memberships > Communities and click Create group.
  2. Enter a name and description.
  3. Choose whether it's public (anyone can request to join) or private (invite only).
  4. Click Create.

Step 3: Add members

  • Send invites from the group's Members page.
  • Share a join link.
  • Sell access with an offer or payment link.
  • Grant access automatically with a workflow, for example after a purchase.

Step 4: Customize your group

  • Details: name, description, and URL.
  • Branding: logo, cover image, and colors.
  • Promotional links: add links to your website, offers, or booking page.
  • Activate or deactivate: hide a group without deleting it.

Step 5: Add your team

Add users from your account as admins or moderators so your team can help run the group.
