Send Voice Notes in Community Chats
Voice notes let members send audio messages in private community chats. They're great for quick explanations and updates without a call.
Record and send
- Open a private chat with another member.
- Press the microphone button next to the message box.
- Record your message.
- Stop and listen if you like, then tap Send, or delete it and start over.
The first time, your browser or phone asks to use your microphone. Allow it.
Listen
Voice notes show in the chat with a play button. Press play to listen, and drag the bar to skip ahead.
Good to know
- Voice notes work in one-to-one community chats.
- They work on the web and in the mobile app.
- Recordings have a maximum length, so keep messages short.
