Getting Started with Gift Cards
Gift cards let customers buy prepaid credit for themselves or someone else, and spend it in your checkouts.
Before you start
Connect a payment provider in Payments > Integrations so you can sell gift cards.
Create a gift card product
- Go to Payments > Gift Cards and open Products.
- Click Create and add a name, image, and description.
- Set the amounts customers can choose from, such as $25, $50, and $100.
- Set an expiry if you want one, then save.
You can edit, archive, or deactivate a gift card product at any time.
Sell or send gift cards
- Sell through the gift card's own checkout link, an embed, a QR code, or your existing forms and funnels.
- Send a gift card directly to a customer for free, for example as a reward or apology.
Track gift cards
The Gift Cards dashboard shows how many you've issued and their value. Open any gift card order to see its balance and history.
How redemption works
- Customers enter their gift card code at checkout.
- If the balance covers a one-time order, no other payment is needed.
- If the balance is less than the total, or the order includes a subscription, the customer pays the rest with another payment method.
- The transaction shows a separate line for the gift card balance used.
