Send Gift Cards Without a Payment
You can send a gift card directly to anyone, without them paying. It's useful for rewards, referrals, apologies, and giveaways.
Send a gift card
- Go to Payments > Gift Cards.
- Click Send Gift Card.
- Pick the gift card product and amount.
- Choose the recipient. You can pick an existing contact or enter new details.
- Pick how to deliver it and add a message.
- Send.
Delivery options
- Email: the code arrives in an email.
- Text message: the code is sent by SMS.
- PDF by email: a printable gift card is attached.
- QR code by email: the customer can scan the code to redeem it.
After you send
The gift card shows in your gift card orders with its balance. The recipient can use it right away at checkout.
You need the Send Gift Card permission to do this.
