Use Your Own Verified Number for Calls in the Mobile App
You can place calls from the FunnelStreams mobile app using a number you already own, such as your cell or office line, once it's verified as a caller ID.
Why use it
- Customers see a number they already know.
- You can start calling without buying a dedicated number.
- You pick the number right in the mobile dialer.
Before you begin
- Verify the number in your phone settings on desktop. Verification usually means answering a call and entering a code.
- Update the FunnelStreams mobile app to the latest version.
Make a call
- Open the dialer in the mobile app, or open a contact and tap Call.
- Tap the From number and choose your verified number.
- Place the call.
Good to know
- Some countries restrict verified caller IDs, so the option may not be available everywhere.
- A verified number can be used for outbound calls. Incoming calls and texts to that number still go to your regular phone, not the app.
