Color-Code Opportunities with Smart Tags
Smart Tags are colored chips that appear on opportunity cards when a rule is met. Use them to spot stale deals, big deals, or new leads at a glance. Tags update on their own as deal data changes.
Who can use them
Admins and users who can edit pipelines can create and edit Smart Tags. Anyone who can view the pipeline sees them.
Limits
- Up to 10 active Smart Tags per pipeline.
- Two tags with the same color and rule in one pipeline aren't allowed.
Create a Smart Tag
- Go to Opportunities and click the Pipelines tab.
- Click Edit on the pipeline.
- Open the Smart Tags tab.
- Click Add Smart Tag.
- Choose Create New Tag to build your own, or Pre-Built Tag to start from a common one.
- Set the name, color, and rule, such as Value greater than 5,000 or no activity in 14 days.
- Preview it and save.
Edit or delete
Open the Smart Tags tab on the pipeline and use the menu next to a tag to edit or delete it.
Tips
Use a few strong colors with clear meanings, such as red for stale and green for high value. Too many tags make cards harder to read.
