Create App QR Codes for iOS and Android
An app QR code sends people to the right app store based on their phone. iPhone users go to the App Store, Android users go to Google Play, and everyone else goes to a fallback link.
Set it up
- Go to Sites > QR Codes and click Create QR Code.
- Choose the App type.
- Enter your App Store URL for iOS.
- Enter your Play Store URL for Android.
- Optionally add a fallback URL for computers and other devices, such as your website.
- Customize the design with colors and your logo.
- Save and download the code.
How the routing works
When someone scans, FunnelStreams detects the device and opens the matching store. If it can't tell, or there's no link for that device, the fallback URL opens.
Tips
- Test the code with an iPhone and an Android phone before you print it.
- Scans are tracked, so you can see how many people scanned and from which devices.
