MM Lite Explained: Smarter WhatsApp Marketing Delivery
Marketing Messages Lite (MM Lite) is Meta's newer delivery system for WhatsApp marketing messages. Instead of sending to everyone at once, it works out who's most likely to engage and when, and prioritizes delivery to them.
Why it matters
Meta has tightened WhatsApp messaging limits to cut spam. Blasting messages doesn't work anymore. Delivery now depends on quality, engagement, and timing. MM Lite is built to help your messages perform under these rules.
Before you start
- You have access to your Meta (Facebook) Business Manager account.
- Business Manager is linked to your WhatsApp Business account.
Turn on MM Lite
- Go to Settings > WhatsApp.
- Click Enable MM Lite on the banner.
- You'll be taken to your WhatsApp account page. Open the Request tab.
- Click Review Request, then Continue.
- Review the access request and click Finish to approve it.
