WhatsApp Error 132000: Number of Parameters Doesn't Match

You may see this error when sending a WhatsApp template:
> (#132000) Number of parameters does not match the expected number of params
It means the template has variables, but the message didn't include a value for each one.

Why it happens

Templates can include variables, like:
`` Hello {{1}}, your order has been confirmed. ``
This template expects one value. If you send it without a value for {{1}}, WhatsApp rejects it with error 132000.

Fix it

  1. Check the template: open it in Settings > WhatsApp > Templates and count the variables ({{1}}, {{2}}, and so on).
  2. Map every variable: wherever you send it from, give each variable a value, and make sure none of them are empty. For example, for Hi {{1}}, your appointment is on {{2}}., map {{1}} to the contact's name and {{2}} to the appointment date.
  3. Save: if you recently changed variables, save again so everything is up to date.

Good to know

  • Every variable in the template needs a value, even if it feels optional.
  • If a custom field is blank for a contact, the variable is empty and the message fails. Use fields that are always filled in, or add a fallback.
