WhatsApp Template Error: Content Being Deleted, Try Again in 4 Weeks
When you create or update a WhatsApp template, you might see:
> New English (US) content can't be added while the existing English (US) content is being deleted. Try again in 4 weeks or consider creating a new message template.
Why it happens
When you delete a template's content in a language, Meta blocks new content in that language under the same template name for up to 4 weeks.
Fix it
Option 1 (recommended): create a new template
Use a new, unique name, like
promo_offer_v2 instead of promo_offer, and submit it for review.Option 2: wait
After 4 weeks from the deletion date, you can add content in that language to the same template name again.
