Reply to Facebook and Instagram Messages from Workflows
Workflows can send direct messages on Facebook Messenger and Instagram, so you can reply to people automatically.
The actions
Under Communications, you'll find actions for Facebook and Instagram direct messages. Use Reply to DM to send an outbound message to someone who's messaged you or commented on your post.
Set it up
- Add the Facebook or Instagram message action to your workflow.
- Write your message. You can add buttons or quick replies so people can respond with one tap.
- Save and publish.
Good to know
- Your Facebook page and Instagram account must be connected.
- Meta only lets you message people who have contacted you recently, so use these actions after a message or comment trigger.
