Give GPT Actions Memory with History

GPT actions can remember earlier exchanges by saving history under a memory key. This helps the AI give replies that fit the conversation so far.

How it works

  1. In your GPT action, turn on history.
  2. Choose the type of history to store, such as the contact's messages, the AI's replies, or both.
  3. Give it a memory key. Any GPT action that uses the same key shares the same history.
  4. Save.

Tips

  • Use the same memory key across steps that belong to the same conversation.
  • Use a different key for unrelated tasks, so their history doesn't mix.
