Custom Webhook Workflow Action
The Custom Webhook action sends a request to any web address, so you can push workflow data to outside apps and services.
Set it up
- Add the Custom Webhook action to your workflow.
- Choose the method: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, or DELETE.
- Enter the URL.
- Add authentication if the service needs it, such as an API key or bearer token.
- Add any headers and query parameters.
- Build the body, such as JSON, using contact fields and trigger data.
- Click Test to send a sample request and see the response.
- Save.
Use the response
Fields from the response can be used in later steps, for example to update a contact field with an ID the other service returns.
Tips
- Use the service's test or sandbox address while you build.
- Check the execution logs if a request fails. They show the status code and response.
