Pause Workflows on Certain Dates
You can pause published workflows for set dates, such as holidays or office closures. The workflow stays published and picks up again when the pause ends, so you don't have to draft or delete it.
Set a pause
- Go to Automation > Workflows and open Global Workflow Settings.
- In the pause section, click Start Date and Time and pick the start and end of the pause. Click Confirm.
- Click Select Workflows and choose one, several, or all workflows. Only published workflows appear in the list.
- Click Add Date to add more date ranges. You can add up to 15.
- Tick Annually on a row to repeat that pause on the same dates every year.
- Use the clone icon to copy a row or the delete icon to remove one.
- Save your changes.
See which workflows are paused
- On the workflow list, paused workflows show a Paused status.
- In each workflow's builder settings, the Pause Workflow section shows its pause dates. You can open Global Workflow Settings from there to change them.
Things to know
- Each date range can be no longer than 15 days.
- A workflow can't be in two date ranges that overlap.
