Copy and Delete Workflow Triggers

A workflow can have several triggers, so the same steps can start from different events. Copying a trigger saves time when you need a similar one, and deleting old triggers keeps your workflow tidy.

Copy a trigger

  1. Go to Automation > Workflows and open the workflow.
  2. Click the copy icon on the trigger card and choose Copy. The copy appears right below the original, with all the same settings.
  3. Click the copy and change its name, filters, or settings.
  4. Click Save. The workflow now starts from either trigger.
Double-check filters on the copy, especially if the original has a lot of conditions.

Delete a trigger

  1. Open the workflow and find the trigger.
  2. Click the bin icon on the trigger card and choose Delete.
  3. Make sure it's the right trigger, then click Confirm.
Deleting a trigger can't be undone. The workflow stops starting from that event. Contacts who already entered through it keep going.

Tips

  • Give copied triggers clear names so you can tell them apart.
  • Check how many contacts enter through a trigger before you delete it.
