Migrate an Existing Domain to the Faster Hosting Setup
If you connected a domain a while ago, you may see a Migrate Domain button on the Domains page. Migrating moves the domain to the newer hosting setup, which gives you:
- Funnels and websites that load about 15% faster
- Better page caching and protection against DDoS attacks
- Extra security features
Migrate automatically
- Go to Settings > Domains & URL Redirects.
- Click Migrate Domain next to the domain.
- Follow the prompts. If your registrar supports automatic setup, your DNS records are updated for you.
That's it. Your domain is migrated.
Migrate manually
If your registrar doesn't support automatic setup:
- Click Migrate Domain.
- At your registrar, update your DNS records:
- For a CNAME record, point it to
sites.ludicrous.cloud. - For the root domain (A record), set the IP address to
162.159.140.166. - Back in your account, click Authorize domain to verify the records.
DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect. If the domain uses Cloudflare, set the record to DNS only, not proxied.
