Product Media Layouts on the Product Details Page
Product media layout controls how product images show on your store's product details page. The right layout makes products with several images easier and more fun to browse.
Layouts
- Gallery: a main image with thumbnails. This is the default for existing stores.
- Carousel: images that visitors swipe or click through.
- Two Column: images in two columns. Desktop only.
On mobile
Mobile always uses Carousel on the product details page and in Featured Product elements, whatever you pick for desktop. Two Column isn't used on mobile.
Set the layout
- Open your store in the store builder.
- Edit the Product Details Page.
- Select the Product element.
- In the right panel, open Desktop Media settings.
- Choose Gallery, Carousel, or Two Column.
- Save, then publish the page.
Good to know
- Featured Product elements support Gallery and Carousel only.
- Existing stores keep their current layout until you change it.
