Email Domain Warm-Up

What warm-up is

Domain warm-up gradually increases how many emails a domain sends each day. Inbox providers like Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo are cautious with domains that suddenly send large volumes. Without warm-up, a new domain is more likely to see spam placement, throttling and blocks.

How automated warm-up works

When warm-up is on, FunnelStreams sets a daily sending limit for your dedicated domain and raises it step by step as your results stay healthy.
  • New domains start with a small daily volume that grows over several weeks.
  • Existing domains with sending history start higher, based on recent volume.
  • If bounces or complaints rise, the schedule slows or pauses until things improve.
  • Emails over the day's limit are queued and sent the next day.

Turn it on

  1. Go to Settings → Email Services → Dedicated Domain.
  2. Open your verified domain and turn on Warm-Up. The feature is in beta, so request access if you don't see the option.
  3. Review the daily limits and progress on the warm-up dashboard.

Get the best results

  • Send to your most engaged contacts first.
  • Keep your sending steady day to day.
  • Connect Google Postmaster Tools so you can watch your Gmail reputation during warm-up.
  • Avoid large one-off blasts until warm-up finishes.
