Add a Physical Address to Your Email Footer

Why it's required

Anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada) and GDPR (EU) require commercial emails to include a valid physical postal address. This setting adds the address to every outgoing email, so you don't have to edit each template.

Turn it on

  1. Go to Settings → Email Services.
  2. Find Physical Address in Email Footer and turn it on.
  3. Choose the address to use:
  4. Business address: uses the address in Settings → Business Profile.
  5. Custom address: enter a different address, such as a PO box or registered office.
  6. Save.

How it works

  • The address is added to the footer of marketing emails sent through the built-in FunnelStreams email service.
  • If a template already includes your address, check the preview so it doesn't appear twice.
  • Keep your business profile address up to date. Changes apply to future emails.

Tips

  • A registered PO box or private mailbox is acceptable in most regions if you'd rather not show a home address.
  • Send a test email to confirm the footer looks right on desktop and mobile.
