Find Your SMTP Credentials
When you need them
SMTP credentials let other apps or devices send email through your FunnelStreams sending domain. Each domain you add has its own credentials.
Create SMTP credentials
You create credentials inside your sub-account, for a dedicated domain you added there.
- Go to Settings → Email Services → Dedicated Domain.
- Open the domain and click SMTP Settings.
- Click Create credentials (or Add SMTP user) and enter a username.
- Copy the password shown. You won't be able to view it again.
The server name, port and username are listed on the same screen.
Use them
Enter the server, port, username and password in the app that needs to send email. Use port 587 with STARTTLS unless the app requires another port.
Tips
- Store the password somewhere safe. If you lose it, reset it and update every app that uses it.
- Credentials are tied to the domain. Deleting the domain also removes its credentials.
