Connect Canva to Media Storage
Connect Canva to see your Canva designs in Media Storage, open them in Canva, and import finished designs into your media library.
Each account connects to one Canva account.
Connect Canva
- Go to Media Storage.
- Click Connect Canva.
- Log in to Canva in the new tab and click Allow.
- Back in Media Storage, the button shows Connected.
- Choose Canva from the My Media menu to see your designs.
Edit in Canva
- Click the three dots on a design.
- Click Edit in Canva. Canva opens in a new tab.
You can also open PNG and JPG files from My Media in Canva.
You can't edit private Canva files or designs you only have view access to. You'll see a "view-only access" message.
Download a design
Click Download on the design. Single-page designs download as an image and multi-page designs as a PDF or ZIP.
Import into your media library
- Click the three dots on the design.
- Click Import to Media Library.
The import is a new, separate file. Later changes in Canva don't update it, so import again after you edit.
Team access
Everyone in the account sees designs from the connected Canva account. Editing depends on that person's access to the design in Canva.
Disconnect
Open the Canva view in Media Storage and choose Disconnect. Files you already imported stay in your media library.
