Schedule Instagram Stories in Social Planner
What it is
The Instagram Story composer in Social Planner lets you create, schedule and publish Stories for Instagram professional accounts. You can add up to 10 images or videos per Story.

- Product launches: reveal a new line over several Stories.
- Events: count down to an event.
- Consistency: schedule a busy week's Stories in advance.
- Time zones: post when your followers are most active.
- Flash sales: announce the start and end of a sale.
Before you begin
- Connect an Instagram professional (Business) account. Stories can't be published to personal or creator accounts.
- Upload your images and videos to the media library.
Create a Story
- Go to Marketing → Social Planner.
- Click New Post → Create New Post.
- Select your Instagram account.
- Under Content Type, choose Story.
- Upload your images or videos.
- Click the arrow next to Post to post now, schedule for later, save as a draft or send for approval.
Good to know
- Text, stickers and tags can't be added through Social Planner. Add text to your images or videos before uploading.
- Story media: JPEG images up to 8 MB; MOV or MP4 videos up to 100 MB, 3 to 30 seconds.
