Sync Existing Posts into Social Planner
What Post Sync does
Post Sync brings posts you've already published, including ones posted directly in the social app, into Social Planner. You can see and analyze all your content in one calendar.
Instagram sync
- Imports posts from the last 30 days automatically
- Supports images, videos, carousels and Reels
- Adds posts to your Social Planner calendar
- Insights refresh every 24 hours, not in real time
Because of Instagram's limits:
- location tags, collaborators and mentions may not come through
- posts you delete on Instagram still show in Social Planner (sync only goes one way)
Sync works with Instagram professional accounts.
Turn it on
When connecting an account
- Go to Marketing → Social Planner and click + Socials.
- In the Connect Socials window, turn on Sync Posts Automatically.
- Connect your account.
For an account that's already connected
- Go to Marketing → Social Planner → Settings.
- Open Social Accounts and choose the platform.
- Turn on Sync Posts for the page or profile.
- Syncing runs in the background. Check Planner for synced posts and Statistics for their performance.
If you see a disconnected or expired-access message, follow the reconnect prompt to resume syncing.
Other platforms
Post Sync is also available for other supported channels, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google Business Profile. What's imported varies by platform.
