Cloud Backend in AI Studio

Cloud is a managed backend for apps you build in AI Studio. It stores data, handles user sign-up and login, and stores uploaded files. Each project gets its own Cloud, and you manage it from the builder.
AI Studio asks you to confirm before it builds features that use Cloud.

Requirements

Cloud works on projects that use the server-side rendering setup. Older projects need to be migrated first. See How to Migrate Existing React Projects to SSR in AI Studio.

Turn on Cloud

  1. Select AI Studio in the left menu.
  2. Create a new project or open one.
  3. Click More > Cloud.
  4. Open Overview and click Enable Cloud.
  5. Wait until setup finishes.

What Cloud includes

  • Database: tables for your app's data, such as bookings, orders, or notes.
  • Users: sign-up, login, and user accounts for your app.
  • Storage: uploaded files such as images and documents.

Build with Cloud

Describe the feature you want, such as "Let users sign up and save their favorite recipes." AI Studio plans the tables and screens it needs, asks you to confirm, and then builds them.

Manage your data

Go to More > Cloud to view tables, records, users, and files. You can edit or delete records there.
Test sign-up, login, and data saving in preview before you publish.
