Code Editor in AI Studio
The Code Editor lets you work on your AI Studio project's code without leaving the builder. Changes show up in the live preview right away, and you can ask AI to find and fix errors.

- Project search: search across every file in the project.
- Instant save and live preview: see your changes as soon as you save.
- Error detection: problems are flagged as you type, and you can ask AI to fix them.
- Route detection: new pages are detected automatically.
- Version history: go back to an earlier version.
- Unsaved changes protection: you're warned before you leave with unsaved edits.
Open the Code Editor
- Open your AI Studio project.
- Click Code in the top menu.
- Pick a file from the file list.
- Make your changes and save.
Tips
- Use chat for big changes and the Code Editor for small, exact fixes.
- Check the preview after each save.
- If something breaks, restore an earlier version from version history.
