Download AI Studio Project Codebase as ZIP

You can download your full AI Studio project as a ZIP file. It includes your project structure and every code file, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You can also download older versions.

Download the latest version

From the Code section
  1. Open your project and click Code in the top menu.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the file list.
  3. Click Download Codebase.
From the project menu
  1. Open your project.
  2. Open the project menu and click Download Codebase.

Download an older version

  1. Open your project's Version History.
  2. Find the version you want.
  3. Click its menu and choose Download.

Good to know

  • The ZIP doesn't include Secrets. Add your keys again wherever you run the code.
  • Downloading doesn't change your project in AI Studio.
  • To run the code elsewhere, you'll need a development setup that supports the project's framework.
