How to Use the Guided Managed Agent Builder
The Guided Managed Agent Builder lets you create and change Managed Agents by chatting. Describe what you want and the builder sets up the instructions, triggers, and connected resources for you.
What it does
- Builds a new agent from a plain-language description.
- Makes targeted edits without rebuilding the whole agent.
- Keeps related instructions in sync.
- Uses resources already in your account, such as calendars, forms, and knowledge bases.
- Asks questions when your request isn't clear.
- Answers questions about how the agent works without changing it.
Create an agent
- Go to AI Agents > Agent Studio and open Managed Agents.
- Click Create Agent and choose the guided builder.
- Describe the agent's job. For example: "Each morning, review new leads from yesterday and send each one a personal follow-up email."
- Answer any questions the builder asks.
- Review the setup and test the agent.
- Publish it.
Make targeted edits
Ask for one change at a time, such as "Make the emails more casual" or "Only run on weekdays." The builder updates only that part and leaves your other settings alone.
Review the changes it suggests before you save them.
