Visual Edits in AI Studio
Visual Edits lets you polish an AI Studio project right in the live preview. It's useful when your site is nearly done and you want to fix copy, spacing, colors, buttons, images, or icons.
AI only runs when you send a prompt. Clicking and editing elements by hand doesn't use AI.
What you can edit
- Headings, paragraphs, and button text
- Colors, fonts, and spacing
- Icons
- Images and how they're laid out
- Buttons and links
Edit an element
- Open your project and turn on Visual Edits.
- Click an element in the preview. Its controls open in a side panel.
- Make your change:
- Text: click and type to edit inline.
- Icons: choose a new icon from the list.
- Images: replace the image or change its size, fit, and position.
- Style: change colors, spacing, and alignment.
- Save your changes.
Use a prompt on one element
Select an element, then type a prompt about just that element, such as "Make this button bigger and green." AI Studio changes only the selected element.
Tips
- Use Visual Edits for small fixes and chat for bigger layout changes.
- Check mobile view after editing.
- Restore an earlier version from version history if you don't like a change.
