Agent Studio for Multi-Agent Workflows

Agent Studio is a visual workspace for building and managing AI agents without code. Agents can use prompts, AI models, tools, variables, knowledge bases, and routing to guide a conversation or complete a task. You can connect several agents and steps to handle bigger jobs.

Main parts

  • Visual builder: the canvas where you design the agent's flow.
  • AI Agent node: an AI step with its own instructions that talks to the user or completes a task.
  • Tool nodes: connect the agent to APIs, web search, and your knowledge base.
  • Router: sends the conversation down different paths.
  • Variables: pass information between nodes, such as contact details or answers the user gave.
  • Test panel: try the agent before you publish.
  • Versions: publish a version while you keep editing a draft.

Build an agent

  1. Go to AI Agents > Agent Studio.
  2. Click Create Agent and choose a blank flow or a template.
  3. Add an AI Agent node and write its instructions.
  4. Add tool nodes the agent needs, such as Knowledge Base.
  5. Add a Router to split the flow, and connect more agent nodes for each path.
  6. Test the flow in the test panel.
  7. Click Publish.

Use your agent

After publishing, start the agent with a trigger, from a workflow, or in a supported chat channel. See Agent Studio: Setting Up Triggers for Flow Agents.

Tips

  • Give each agent node one clear job.
  • Use variables instead of repeating the same details in several prompts.
  • Test with realistic messages, including unexpected ones.
