How to Unpublish a Managed Agent
Unpublishing stops a Managed Agent from running without deleting it. Its triggers, apps, knowledge, and instructions stay in place, so you can publish it again later.
If an event was already in progress when you unpublished, it shows as Skipped in the agent's activity history with a reason.
Unpublish an agent
- Go to AI Agents > Agent Studio.
- Open the published Managed Agent.
- Click the Edit Agent icon next to Publish in the top-right corner.
- Click the ⋮ menu and choose Unpublish.
- Confirm.
Publish it again
Open the agent, make any changes, and click Publish.
Unpublish or delete?
- Unpublish when you want to pause the agent and keep its setup.
- Delete only when you're sure you won't need the agent again.
