Ask AI Memory
Ask AI Memory saves useful details from your chats, such as your business, your role, your preferences, and instructions you repeat. Ask AI uses them in later chats so you don't have to explain the same things again.
Memory or chat history?
- Chat history keeps your past conversations so you can go back to them.
- Memory keeps short, reusable facts that Ask AI applies to any new chat.
Save a memory
- Tell Ask AI directly, such as "Remember that our business hours are 9 to 5 Eastern."
- Ask AI may also suggest saving a detail during a chat.
View and manage memories
- Open Ask AI.
- Open the settings menu and choose Saved Memories.
- Search or scroll through your memories.
- Edit a memory to fix it, or delete memories you no longer need.
You can also manage memories from Ask AI in the mobile app.
Tips
- Keep memories short and specific.
- Delete memories that are out of date so answers stay accurate.
- Don't save passwords or other private information as memories.
