How to Use Ask AI in Split View
Split View docks the Ask AI panel next to your page. The page stays visible and clickable while you chat, so you can work and ask questions side by side.
Turn on Split View
- Open Ask AI.
- Click Open split view at the top of the panel.
To go back, click the floating view option.
Where it's available
Split View works on supported pages. On pages that don't support it, the Open split view option is hidden and Ask AI opens as a floating panel.
Your choice is remembered. When you go back to a supported page, Ask AI opens in Split View again.
Tips
- Use Split View with page context so Ask AI can see what's on the page.
- Close the panel when you need the full screen.
