Voice AI: Exposed System Prompts for Agents
Your Voice AI agent follows built-in system prompts for things like booking, transfers, and general behavior. Exposed System Prompts let you see these instructions and make careful changes.
The default prompts are well tested. If you edit them, the changes are permanent until you reset them, and you'll need to maintain them yourself.
View and edit system prompts
- Go to AI Agents > Voice AI.
- Create an agent or open one from the agent list.
- Open the agent's prompt settings and find the system prompts.
- Click a module, such as booking, to read its prompt.
- Edit the personality or wording if needed.
- Save, then test the agent.
Reset to default
Open the module and choose Reset to default to go back to the original prompt.
Tips
- Change tone and personality in your own instructions first. Edit system prompts only when you need to.
- Make one change at a time and test after each.
- Keep a copy of your changes so you can reapply them after a reset.
