Error 30003: Number Unreachable or Out of Service
What this error means
Error 30003 means the recipient's device couldn't receive the message when delivery was attempted. The cause is usually the recipient's device, signal, number type, or mobile carrier, not your message content.
Common causes
- The device is powered off or has weak or no signal.
- The device is temporarily unavailable.
- The number can't receive SMS or is a landline.
- The recipient is roaming outside their home network.
- The carrier has a temporary delivery issue.
- The carrier is filtering or blocking the message.
How to fix it
A single 30003 error is often temporary.
- Wait and re-send the message later.
- Check the number on the contact record for typos and the correct country code.
- Confirm the contact uses a mobile number that can receive texts.
- If the error repeats over several days, reach the contact by phone or email and confirm their number.
- If many different contacts show this error at once, review your content and sending volume, since carrier filtering can also cause it. Contact support if it continues.
Tips
- Don't send repeated retries in quick succession.
- Remove numbers that fail consistently from SMS campaigns.
