Error 30011: MMS Not Supported for This Number or Region
What this error means
Error 30011 means an MMS message couldn't be processed because MMS isn't available for the receiving side.
- Outbound: the recipient's number or device can't receive MMS.
- Inbound: incoming MMS isn't supported for your number in that region.
Common causes
- The recipient's number or device doesn't support MMS, or MMS is turned off on the device.
- The recipient's carrier doesn't support MMS on that route.
- The number type doesn't support MMS.
- MMS isn't supported in the region of the receiving number.
- The message has an attachment, which requires MMS.
How to fix it
- Remove the attachment and send the message as plain SMS.
- Share media with a link instead, for example to a file or page.
- Ask the recipient to check that MMS is enabled on their phone.
- For international contacts, assume MMS may not be available and use links.
- If you need to receive media from contacts in a region without MMS support, ask them to email it.
