Error 30034: Link a Phone Number to Your Approved A2P Campaign

What this error means

Error 30034 means the US local (10-digit) number you're sending from isn't linked to an approved A2P 10DLC campaign. Carriers block or filter messages from unregistered numbers.
> Before you start: your A2P brand and campaign must already be approved. See *What is A2P 10DLC?* to register them.

Why linking matters

A number can exist in your sub-account without being linked to your campaign. Linking tells carriers which registered business and use case apply to messages from that number. It's also needed when you buy a new number or port one in after your campaign was approved.

How to link a number

  1. Go to Settings → Phone System.
  2. Open the A2P registration section and find your approved campaign.
  3. Choose the option to add or link phone numbers.
  4. Select the numbers you want to use for texting.
  5. Save. Allow up to 24 hours for carriers to finish provisioning.

After linking

  • Check the number's A2P status tag on the Phone Numbers list.
  • Send one test message after provisioning completes.
  • Link each new number you add before you start texting from it.
