A2P Campaign Registration: Step-by-Step Guide

Before you start

Campaign registration comes after brand registration. Make sure your brand is approved (or eligible to continue) and that your business website is live and public so carriers can verify it.

Messaging volume options

Standard brands may see different volume options:
| Volume option | Best for | | --- | --- | | Low Volume Standard Brand | Businesses with moderate daily texting needs. Daily throughput limits apply. | | High Volume Standard Brand | Businesses that send higher daily volumes and need more throughput. |
Low Volume Standard is a volume option for standard brands. It is different from the Sole Proprietor brand type.

Guided setup vs. manual setup

  • Guided setup walks you through the questions and helps build your description, sample messages and opt-in details.
  • Manual setup lets you enter every field yourself. Use it if you already have compliant wording ready.

How to register a campaign

  1. Go to Settings → Phone System → Trust Center.
  2. Open Brands & Campaigns and start a new campaign for your approved brand.
  3. Choose the messaging use case that matches the primary purpose of your messages.
  4. Write a campaign description that says who sends the messages, who receives them, what they contain and how people opt in.
  5. Add at least two sample messages that include your business name and opt-out language.
  6. Describe your opt-in method and add links to your opt-in form, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
  7. Review the compliance summary, fix any flagged items and submit.

After you submit

The campaign shows Pending while it's reviewed. Review can take several days. If it's rejected, open the campaign to see the required fixes, correct them and resubmit. Carrier fees may apply to campaign vetting.
