Call Transcriptions for Recorded Calls
What call transcription is
Call transcription converts recorded inbound and outbound calls into written text automatically, so you can review a conversation without listening to the whole recording. It's a paid Voice Intelligence add-on and needs call recording to be turned on.
Turn on call transcription
- Go to Settings → Phone System.
- Open the Voice tab.
- Select Call Transcription.
- Check Enable Call Transcription and save.
Find a transcription
- Open Conversations.
- Select the contact.
- Under the call's playback controls, click View Transcript.
Tips
- Only calls that are recorded can be transcribed.
- Let callers know calls may be recorded, as required by your local laws.
- Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality.
