How to Submit a Campaign for A2P 10DLC
After you submit your brand details, you're taken to Campaign Details, which has two parts: Messaging Use Case and User Consent.
Messaging use case
Use case
Select the use case that best matches the main purpose of your messages. See A2P 10DLC Campaign Use Case Types.
Use case description
Explain who's sending, who receives the messages, what they're about and how people opt in. For example: "Acme Dental sends appointment reminders and follow-ups to patients who opt in on our website booking form."
Sample messages
Provide at least two samples that:
- Include the contact's name, a staff member's name, your business name and opt-out language ("Reply STOP to unsubscribe").
- Match the messages described in your use case.
- Use links on your own domain, never public link shorteners.
Example (non-marketing): *"Hi Sam, this is Jordan from Acme Dental. Reminder: your cleaning is tomorrow at 2 PM. Reply C to confirm. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."*
Example (marketing): *"Hi Sam, it's Jordan at Acme Dental. Book a whitening session this month and save 15%: acmedental.com/offer. Reply STOP to opt out."*
User consent
- How users opt in: describe the exact steps, such as "Customers fill in the form at acmedental.com/book and tick an optional SMS consent box."
- Privacy Policy: link a public policy that says mobile information won't be shared with third parties for marketing.
- Terms of Service: link public SMS terms with program description, frequency, rates, HELP and STOP instructions.
- Opt-in message: the confirmation text sent after someone subscribes, including your business name, frequency, "Msg & data rates may apply", HELP and STOP.
Submit
Review everything for consistency, then submit. Carrier fees may apply to campaign vetting. Review usually takes several days.
